Without a doubt, the most fragrant street in Lavillia was Floral Street. Every house was surrounded by a small garden filled with impossibly beautiful, blooming plants. Flowers spilled from windowsills, clustered near doorways, climbed rooftops and curled along the walls.
There were little gazebos with cozy tables, tea in delicate cups, generous pies, and long, soul-to-soul conversations. This street was especially beloved by the fairies — and at least one always lived just next door.
The eyes rejoiced every time they looked upon this street. The air carried a light, sweet scent. People gifted each other bouquets just because — and every house was named after a flower.
